this contains the final results of a multi site study on the safety and efficacy of Immunosuppressive agents and Tumor necrosis Alpha inhibitors.
overall, no increased risk in Ocular inflammatory disease patients were found for the use of immunosuppressives. TNF a inihibitors MIGHT increase risk..

the latest thoughts from the medical community indicate that the sooner one goes onto disease modifying medications the better the long term outlook for the patient. for a long time it was said that 'take that drug and you will get cancer'
that notion has been dispelled and the latest infromation indicates the INFLAMMATION that is allowed to smolder without treatment is what can cause Cancer in many instances not these DMARD drugs in dose required to treat our autoimmune diseases.
