Working through iritis

Post by Willie B »

Hello all,

I've just introduced myself at https://www.iritis.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... ess#p14495

I work as a freelance journalist (sub editor/copy editor), paid by the day. The job involves reading stories on screen and editing them, then adding a headline.

The consultant said I should take two weeks off but I'm balking at this. I don't get sick pay and I need the money to live.

My eye feels fine now the drops have taken effect. Is there any reason I should not go back to work fairly soon?

Thank you.

There's no reason to take time off. There's no evidence that computer work affects iritis. Lots of old wives tales on the net. Study red in your eye to detect next episode.
