most cases of iritis are NON GRANULOMATUS so the treatment algorithm is the NON granulomatus iritis one for HLA B27 autoimmune (IDEOPATHIC) uveitis/iritis for most individuals who post here. if granulomatus uveitis is the diagnosis, then it is most often related to a systemic disease process or virus, bacteria or other pathogen and treatment is based on the underlying disease or pathogen.
